Air Travel Museum

The air travel museum in Wernigerode houses a remarkable number of aeroplanes and fascinating models. Over 1000 exhibits and more than 50 flying machines are waiting for your visit. The museum's "biggest bird" is a Transall C-160 military aeroplane purchased by the Air Travel Museum from the Federal Armed Forces which is permanently on display at the air strip in Ballenstedt.

Daily from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
Closed on the 24th & 25th December and the 1st of January

Concession: 5.00 €
Children and Youths from 6 to 15 years: 3.00 €
Children under 5: free entry

Guided Tours:
The air travel museum offers guided tours on request.

Special Offers:
Children's audio guides (6 to 12 years) with our mascot "Fanny". Audio guides for adults in German and English.

Museum access is limited for disabled people and those with wheel chairs.
